B2B E-commerce London Meetup
An informal meetup for professionals driving e-commerce
in B2B organisations selling products, information and services online.
B2B E-commerce meetup offers marketing and e-commerce directors and other change agents the opportunity to learn from peers in companies on a similar journey in a relaxed and refreshingly uncommercial environment.
Join us for two hours of presentations, facilitated discussion and networking focused on the challenges of digital transformation. The midweek slot in London offers participants a valuable get-together around which to build the regular London trips many of us make.
- two fascinating speakers sharing their insight and experience – see Pauliina and Holger’s bios below;
- open discussion diving into the detail of the challenges and opportunities of B2B e-commerce success;
- plenty of opportunity to network, and a trip to the pub after for food and drinks is a solid bet for those not rushing off.
Who should attend?
The event is free to attend for marketing and e-commerce directors, and other change agents, in B2B e-commerce businesses. The meetup is not a commercial enterprise so we try to limit the number of service providers and vendors. If you are a service provider or vendor we usually ask you add to the community by attending with some of your end-user customers.
Caterpillar’s Holger Pietzsch
Holger has led business model transformation in services, marketing and digital across Europe and the Americas across the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturer. Holger will share his experience driving profitable change across a giant.
Siemens’ Pauliina Jamsa
Pauliina is a Global Senior Online Marketing Manager at Siemens. She’ll be discussing ‘What comes naturally to B2B commerce pros in Social Media – and what most definitely doesn’t! Learn what you can do to help your team get social.’
Guest Speaker: Mike Brojak
Leveraging his broad experience in digital first roles across RS Components, Designspark, Jetter AG and RM PLC, Mike is currently leading the Innovation and Impact agenda at a leading online global B2B Distributor. He is an enthusiastic technology explorer with a keen interest in the social impact technology can have. Mike is going to talk about the direction innovation is taking us in, which innovations we should pay attention to and which to prepare for, and is looking forward to the debate this will inevitably generate.
Our first meetup included a fireside chat between Sparex’s Rich Bennett and Lingo24’s Christian Arno, a talk by Richard Hunt with his tips and tricks based on years of experience in digital transformation, and a mini-panel on matters content with the Alan Cooper of Freestyle and Alan Miller of Codifyd.
