About the role

As Lingo24 scales up, we’re building our Marketing Team to support our ambitious growth plans. We’re looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive who will play a key role in the planning, execution and optimisation of our online marketing efforts.
Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Marketing Team and other key stakeholders across Lingo24 to create campaigns to help us meet our new business targets.

The role will require a deep understanding of the key concepts of digital marketing as the Digital Marketing Executive will own our approach to our Marketing Technology Stack across all of our channels (website(s), analytics, social media, marketing automation, CRM).

  • There will be a strong focus on integrating our tools to ensure we are data driven and following best practice approaches.
  • This position would suit an ambitious self-starter who’s been working as a Digital Marketing Executive for at least three years and is looking for the next step in their career.

What will your first year look like?

As part of the role you will:

  • Own our Marketing tools from a tech perspective
  • Support with the development of digital lead generation strategies
  • Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hubspot Analytics, SEMrush etc.)
  • Monitor and report on our company’s ongoing social media presence
  • Launch optimised Linkedin ads to increase company and brand awareness
  • Proactively manage our SEO approach (keyword, image optimisation etc.) in line with our SEO strategy
  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and input to our content planning
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep our strategies up-to-date and aligned to industry best practice approaches

  • Provide creative ideas for content marketing and input to our content planning
  • Acquire insight in online marketing trends and keep our strategies up-to-date and aligned to industry best practice approaches

Key skills and requirements

  • Proven experience of optimising digital channels in a fast-moving industry
  • At least three years in a Digital Marketing Executive role (or similar)  
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices including web, social, SEO and email marketing
  • Experience with integrating technology – marketing automation, CRMs, Google analytics
  • Deep knowledge of web analytics and SEO tools (Google Analytics, WordPress, Yoast, SEMrush), Marketing automation (i.e. Hubspot)
  • Self starter who can work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • The role will also require working regularly from the Edinburgh office (when we return to that environment in Q4)
  • Video creation/editing skills would be an added bonus

  • Self starter who can work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • The role will also require working regularly from the Edinburgh office (when we return to that environment in Q4)
  • Video creation/editing skills would be an added bonus
