Business Development Manager

The role:

We are looking for someone to join our new business team, a critical role in winning new business in our key target areas, these are the digital business for B2B, B2C and Travel and leisure, supporting the translation of large sets of content to be central to driving the growth of these global businesses.

This is a new business role and the successful applicant would be expected to be comfortable in both generating their own opportunities as well as working on leads handed over from the digital marketing effort or via referrals from the partner channel.

What we need:

  • Comfortable winning 6 figure deals with complex and extended sales cycles
  • Used to selling the value with a classical solutions sales approach
  • Highly organised, self-starter who can take initiative and get stuff done
  • A good understanding of digital with any experience in content platforms or integration (CMS, ecom, PIM) a bonus
  • Creative ideas to identify, explore and challenge the business with new revenue opportunities
  • Good understanding of technology
  • Flawless English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel within Europe and beyond
  • A natural networker
  • Proven success in a similar role in a competitive industry
  • Results and target-driven with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Second language a bonus
  • Uncapped commission scheme to reward success

What you will be doing:

You would be working in a tight supportive team within the bigger sales function and reporting to the Global Director for Sales and Partners.
