Voice Over Services
Voice-over (also known as off-camera or off-stage commentary) is an audio-visual translation technique in which a non-diegetic voice (sound whose source is neither visible on the screen nor has been implied to be present in the action) is used in a radio, television, film, theatre, or other presentation over the original audio track which can be heard in the background.
years experience - our Voice Over partners have over a quarter century of industry experience
The voice-over may be spoken by someone who appears elsewhere in the production or by a specialist voice actor, the purpose being to translate words of foreign language speakers in documentaries, interviews, news-reports, etc.
Lingo24 has over 700 Voice Over artists worldwide, all professional voice actors with extensive industry experience, allowing us to match the right voice with the right project. We would be happy to provide an audio sample of our voice talent across any combination of language and gender.
No matter what the language combination or subject, Lingo24 has a multilingual voice over specialist.
A recent Voice Over project involved transcribing a training video for a global logistics company and then having the transcribed text translated at the service level Fully Managed Translation and Editing from English into French, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, German and Dutch.
Lingo24 then sourced a range of professional voice over artists for the aforementioned languages, and the client was able to select the voice over artists that best suited each language, to re-record the scripts in their specific language.
The finished audio recordings were then delivered in the required formatting, saving the client significant project management time by bundling the transcription of the audio scripts, their translation into six languages, and their re-recording by professional voice over artists into one package.
