Lingo24 worked with this major British tourism body to translate the entirety of its 20 localised websites into Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Malay and ten other languages – a total of three million words.
Lingo24 integrated its translation technology with the client’s CMS and input all of the client's old content to gain maximum leverage from in-context phrase and word repetitions.
We also constructed a team of specialist marketing translators and proof readers to ensure that all website collateral was translated in line with the client’s style policy and branding.
Projects generally ranged between 800 and 1600 words, with overnight deadlines in every case. The client was so pleased with our work on the project that they commissioned us to translate their trade website as well.

A world leader in private aviation, this client has had 600,000 words translated by Lingo24 since 2007, covering 30 different language combinations.
The company’s systems are integrated with Lingo24’s translation technology, allowing its staff in the UK and USA to submit their translation projects 24 hours a day directly from their internal content management systems.
The majority of translations are direct marketing materials – one project in 2009 consisted of translating the entire website.
Other marketing collateral projects have included translating advertisements, brochures and customer letters, which require in-depth knowledge of technical engineering and aviation terminology.
