Translator in New York

Translator Neil works exclusively from Spanish and Italian into his native English. With a passion for languages, he has lived, studied and worked in both Spain and Italy. In addition, he has a degree in Modern Languages from a UK university with a focus on Spanish and Italian.

After teaching Spanish, Neil became an in-house translator for a translation company in Spain, working from Spanish to English in areas such as law, medicine and finance. Now based in New York, he works in freelance translation, transcription and subtitling for Spanish and Italian across a range of subject areas. With an in-depth knowledge of translation technology, he is able to deal with a range of different file formats and Computer Assisted Translation programs.
