![]() | In-house Linguist - Alain GarnierAs someone with a penchant for different languages and cultures, working in the cosmopolitan atmosphere of a translation company was the obvious move for Alain. Having studied Japanese and International Relations at the 'Institut des Langues Orientales' in Paris, he then spent 2 years in Japan working as a Coordinator for International Relationships, improving his skills in this exacting language along the way. When he joined Lingo24 in early 2004, he was living and working in Wellington, in New Zealand. Now back in Paris, Alain has responsibility for, amongst other things, proofreading and editing all French translations that pass through the company, a duty that he performs with panache and good humour. These qualities, along with his productivity and work rate, are very much appreciated by his colleagues here at Lingo24. |
