“Prior to working in the Lingo24 online marketing team, I worked as a freelance translator, having studied English and Norwegian at university. For me, one of the main advantages of working here is that I get to speak and write in English at all times, meaning my language skills will never go rusty!

But overall, working here has allowed me to combine the flexibility I enjoyed when I worked as a freelancer, with the security of knowing that I am part of a top translation company; I actually work from my home in Cluj, which is about a five hour train journey from the office in Timisoara.

Working remotely hasn’t really created any barriers at all. In this wonderful age of technology, all I really need is a computer and an internet connection and I could just as easily be next door! Plus, I still make the trip to the office every couple of months, just to make sure nobody has forgotten about me.

And because this was a new position when I came on board three years ago, I have had the freedom to really make it my own. I’ve seen how far we’ve come in the past 3 years and I am really positive about where we’re heading in the future!”
