Lingo24 Head of Operations Romania“Although I’m in charge of the project management department, I don’t do much in the way of direct project management. My role is more to do with coordinating the team, looking at our policies and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Every day is different in the Lingo24 office, and although this can bring a lot of pressures and problems, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t think I would enjoy working in a repetitive environment!

And because I began life at Lingo24 three years ago as an actual project manager, I feel I can relate well to the rest of the team and I think I am very approachable. To manage people effectively, it’s important to show that you understand what the other team members are doing and take an active interest in their day-to-day activities.

Although there are clearly cultural differences between the offices in each country, I find that from a working perspective, there are very few differences as everyone is ultimately trying to achieve the same goals.”
