It was not only bargain hunters and avid shoppers who noticed the record drop in the dollar in November and got their wallets and credit cards at the ready to take advantage of the favourable overseas economy. What appears to be the currency’s temporary decline has opened the door for strategic business investments. A slice of the American pie looks more attainable now than ever before over the past few decades, so Lingo24 is not letting the opportunity pass it by!
The big leap across the Atlantic was already made at the beginning of 2007 with the opening of Lingo24’s New York office. However, the company’s fast and quality translation services are now set to meet the business demands of customers across all the Americas. Lingo24 is moving south, towards the sunny lands of Panama, for its next location that translators and project managers will use to respond to the demands of American customers. From here, a new operation will soon start to deliver instant quotes and live feedback to project requirements for customers from Toronto (Canada) to Santiago (Chile).
“We’re very keen on getting involved in the fast-developing economies of Central America, and are excited about working with the warm, professional people we’ve met there”, says Managing Director Christian Arno.
The new Central American office is scheduled to open in January 2008. Lingo24 will then cover almost all the world’s time-zones, spreading from New Zealand to Panama. Customers in the Americas will therefore get even more speed and quality for their business translations!
