Lingo24 Invited to Speak at IoD Conference on Business Opportunities in Eastern Europe

Lingo MD Christian Arno will share some of the company's experiences of setting up an operation in Eastern Europe when he joins a panel of experts at a prestigious Institute of Directors' conference in London next month.
The event, which will be chaired by Miles Templeman, Director General of the Institute of Directors, is the second in the IoD's International Insight for Business series. It will take place on 21st March at The London Landmark, and a panel of speakers - including four trade consuls from Eastern Europe - will offer practical advice on how to set up business in and with Eastern Europe.
Christian's experiences of establishing and successfully growing our Team Lingo operation in Romania will be the focus of his 15 minute case study presentation. In it, he'll describe the research that the company had to carry out in advance to determine the most appropriate base for our Romanian operation, and will also outline the support received from Scottish Enterprise and local Romanian companies to help us get Team Lingo up and running in a short space of time. In addition, the presentation will include information and advice on the logistics of running an operation in Eastern Europe from overseas.
Founded in 2005 with the appointment of two Romanian project managers and three web developers, Team Lingo has expanded rapidly in the last year, and now employs 22 full-time staff in and around Timisoara. Lingo24's invitation to speak at the IoD's conference is an excellent opportunity for the company to enthuse about Romania's potential for British businesses.
