Yes, the Lingo24 birthday has finally arrived. It is exactly six years since Christian Arno - an Oxford student aged 22 at the time - started the e-business project that has now become an international translation company with over 50 employees working from various corners of the globe. From Aberdeen (UK) to Timisoara (Romania) and from Shanghai (China) to Christchurch (New Zealand), the Lingo24 network has spread all over the world map as the company keeps growing.
Starting out from a computer in his parents' house in 2001, with a few friends who helped with building a website and providing translations in a couple of languages, the company, founded by Arno, now operates in 8 countries and has an annual turnover above £2 million.
So how does it feel to celebrate Lingo24's sixth birthday? "We think we're very grown up for a six-year-old, but we know there's still a long way to go!", says Arno.
With the list of large multinational brands gathered in the company's portfolio getting longer, and Lingo24's services maintaining a high-quality level with consistency, we do believe this is just the beginning...
