Why is one language harder or easier to learn than another? Unfortunately, the rather annoying answer is that there is no one simple answer. There are some languages which have a number of characteristics that make them relatively difficult to learn. But it depends a lot on what languages you already know, particularly your native language - sometimes it's just the luck of the linguistic draw.

Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing junk food into your mouth. Choose your future. Choose life. But who would want to do a thing like that? You chose not to choose life: you chose 'The fascinating thing about language'
