VAT (Value Added Tax) is a tax you pay when you buy services from a VAT-registered business in the UK, such as Lingo24. If you are a company or a private individual within the UK the VAT charge is required and will be added to your quote and invoice. If you are a non-UK resident but are within the EU the VAT charge will apply unless you can provide us with a valid VAT number or proof that you are in business but are not VAT registered. You do not have to pay VAT if you are outside the EU.
