What does a ‘match’ and a ‘fuzzy match’ mean?

'Matches' are sentences or phrases from the source file that have been previously translated and stored in the Translation Memory. The words that are part of such a sentence or phrase are calculated as matches in the Project Metrics.
'Fuzzy matches' are sentences or phrases from the source file that are similar to a sentence or phrase that has been previously translated and stored in the Translation Memory. The words that are part of such a sentence or phrase are calculated as fuzzy matches in the Project Metrics and are split into the following categories, based on the 'similarity percentage': 75% - 84%; 85% - 94%; 95% - 99%.
