Job Description for Lingo24 Business Development Executive in Timişoara, Romania

Background

Lingo24 is one of the fastest-growing, most innovative translation companies in Europe. With small operations in the UK, New Zealand, China, France and Germany, the company’s main hub is in Romania, where it employs over 50 people in project management, account management, IT and marketing roles. Lingo24 undertakes translation projects for a wide range of clients in several different industry sectors.

It is now seeking an outstanding Business Development Executive to join its growing Sales&Marketing team to ensure Lingo24’s client portfolio development.

Outline of Business Development Executive Role

Our Business Development Executive will be responsible for developing Lingo24’s clients portfolio.

Specific Tasks

  1. Research potential client companies through the internet to compile lists of companies having translation requirements
  2. Decide on likely appropriate message.
  3. Make contact by telephone and email with potential customers, identify key decision makers in companies with regular translation services needs.
  4. Lead contacts through the sales cycle for translation services.
    • persuade contact that they should consider Lingo24
    • agree process of assessment with contact
    • work closely with our Project managers to complete the order
  5. Maintain relationship with contact over time and develop further business from account.

Requirements

  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
  • Additional language – German/other Western European language - a plus
  • Internet research and computer skills
  • Experience in sales; telemarketing experience is a plus
  • Excellent communicator, disciplined, persistent, organised, with initiative, intelligent and capable of bringing in results without being pushy, capable of working independently without day-to-day supervision

Salary and conditions

Salary: Will depend on experience, but will be competitive and rewarding.

Full time job, the working hours will correspond to UK working hours: 9-17 GMT.
