New translation programme from Google
Thursday, March 29th, 2007Google is currently developing a translation programme which will translate a document into any of the world’s main languages.
Google admits that the programme may not be suited to accurate-critical document translations but it should be able to deliver a ‘mostly correct translation’.
So far, the Google statistical machine translation system is offering translations from Arabic, Chinese and Russian to English. The tool is free for the time being.
