But in the modern digital age, technology plays a very important part too. From websites and servers, to databases and software applications, these are the tools of the trade that better enable the people to do what they do.

Indeed, technology and people are not mutually exclusive and together they are a very potent force. And that is why we are particularly proud to announce the appointment of our new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Andrzej ‘Andy’ Zydron.

Andy is best known for the design of XTM, next generation XML-based translation memory software.  The web-based technology acts as an interface between human translators and their documents, allowing multiple translators and reviewers to work simultaneously on the same file.

With twenty years in the translation technology industry, Zydron was previously Technical Architect of translation systems for Ford Europe, Chief Architect for Xerox Global Language Services and IT Director for Multilingual Technology Ltd.

So this is a real coup for us and we are absolutely delighted to have him on board.
