As one of the world’s most profitable companies, it’s hardly surprising that Google has a pretty impressive office environment for its staff to enjoy. 

The Googleplex - located in Santa Clara County, California – boasts swimming pools, fountains, volleyball courts, slides and a replica of Space Ship One. And as if that wasn’t enough, it even has a full size dinosaur skeleton as part of its decor!

Of course, even Lingo24 would struggle to match that. But that’s not stopping us from launching our very own ‘Lingo-plex’ in our main operational hub in Timisoara, Romania.

Starting with five members of staff in early 2005, our Romanian base today has seventy hard working people covering Account Management, Project Management, Marketing, Sales, IT, HR and senior management.

We are currently working out of two office bases – Casa Lingo and Casa Nova – but the time has come for everyone to reconvene under one big roof.

However, we wouldn't want to get anyone too excited with all this talk about the veritable playground that is the Googleplex, but we think there could be a few pleasant surprises in there for everyone.

We should be moving in some time over the summer. And whilst we won't be whizzing past a life-size T-Rex on a helter-skelter anytime soon, it will be fantastic to finally have everyone in Timisoara working together again under one roof.
