Lingo24 has teamed up with soapboxracing.co.uk for an extreme gravity racing event, set to take place on the longest and most testing course in Britain on the weekend of the 25th and 26th July. As official supporters of the event, Lingo24 has translated sections of the website into Gaelic.
And for those wondering what a ‘jessie’ is after reading the text on the homepage, it’s a Scottish colloquialism for a feeble, easily scared person.
But Lingo24 Managing Director Christian Arno's dad is anything but a jessie as he’s aiming to race at ridiculously high speeds in a cart he’s building with a friend! So good luck in advance and photos of the racing machine with Arno senior are to follow in late July! And for those who wondering what exactly soapbox racing is, then check out this vid:
