Lingo24’s Director of Operations Jack Waley-Cohen represented his company recently in the finals of the 'Save the Children' corporate tennis tournament.
Sporting his white Lingo24 t-shirt, Jack and his doubles partner Elli pulled off an amazing coup, by defeating former Wimbledon winner Pat Cash! The photo was taken pre-match and Jack has confirmed that Cash's smile (see photo) was nowhere to be seen following the 4-1 doubles defeat.
"If anyone is curious, the black device on my left leg is my Robocop attachment, which enables me to play tennis following a football injury 10 years ago.
Unfortunately, we didn't win overall, narrowly losing in the group stages on a tie-break to the eventual winners. We raised over £500 for the charity, which was great. So whilst having an amazing day on the courts, we also did a good deed for a very worthy cause."
