Moreover, for a translation company, it’s probably fair to say that it’s even more important that we are able to communicate professionally in a number of languages. Indeed, one of the main reasons we chose to open offices in Panama and Timisoara (Romania) is because of the skill-sets in these two particular locations – chiefly, they are very multilingual places.

They say that a job used to be for life. But in a fast-moving 21st century society, more and more people are moving on after only a few years in their job.

Of course, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The thought of working for the same company for forty years would probably be enough to make most people baulk. And moving on to pastures new is what many people need to reenergise and consolidate all they have learnt from their previous experiences.
