Beside a brilliant and improbably zany storyline, most of the entertainment is derived from the interplay of the characters and plays on their various accents e.g. the British pilots dressed as French Policemen and attempting French accents (but spoken in English). I’ve always liked The Netherlands a great deal; I find the people there charming, friendly and genuine and I particularly like this time of year; the whether is somewhat chilly and consequently all of the tourist crowds have long since departed. |
